Fire and Embers

Fingers running down slick skin
gasps of breath
coming short and fast
heat spreads through us
eyes burning wild with the intensity of
FIRE

Clothes discarded on the floor
backed up against the wall
pushing for more to give and more to receive
hands moving up and down
the rhythm moves through us like
FIRE

My mind is completely empty
I can't think only feel
my body arches with pleasure
all I want is to give to make you feel what I feel
this overwhelming feeling of power and
FIRE

The pulsing climax is over
drifting into a peaceful sleep next to each other
soft content sighs echoing around me
sunlight drifting over us
the fire now burns low into
EMBERS
